Disaster declarations in effect

Emergency declarations by the Governor and by FEMA, as published. They are the State's and FEMA's decisions, not Florida VOAD's; each links to the order itself.

State of emergency EO 26-212 amends Executive Order 26-202 – Emergency Management – Hurricane Isaias

Signed October 10, 2026 · in effect to December 5, 2026 · 30 counties

Baker, Bay, Calhoun, Citrus, Columbia, Dixie, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Gilchrist, Gulf, Hamilton, Hillsborough, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Lafayette, Leon, Levy, Liberty, Madison, Okaloosa, Pasco, Pinellas, Santa Rosa, Suwannee, Taylor, Wakulla, Walton, Washington

The Governor has expanded the state of emergency for Hurricane Isaias, now a Category 3 hurricane, to 30 counties across the Panhandle and parts of the Gulf Coast, adding Citrus, Hillsborough, Levy, Pasco and Pinellas compared with the original order. The hurricane brings risks of flash and river flooding, high winds, storm surge and tornadoes. The order also authorizes mosquito control in the affected counties because standing water is expected, and it gives state agencies flexibility and funding to respond. The emergency lasts as long as Executive Order 26-202 does.
