The Governor has expanded the state of emergency for Hurricane Isaias, now a Category 3 hurricane, to 30 counties across the Panhandle and parts of the Gulf Coast, adding Citrus, Hillsborough, Levy, Pasco and Pinellas compared with the original order. The hurricane brings risks of flash and river flooding, high winds, storm surge and tornadoes. The order also authorizes mosquito control in the affected counties because standing water is expected, and it gives state agencies flexibility and funding to respond. The emergency lasts as long as Executive Order 26-202 does.

Declares a state of emergency; activates the Florida National Guard and State Guard as needed; lets the State waive tolls and size, weight and registration rules for relief vehicles; allows 30-day emergency prescription refills; makes public buildings available as shelters; lets out-of-state medical professionals volunteer under the American Red Cross or the Department of Health; and puts the price-gouging law in effect in the declared counties.
